Synopsis

Paco Fernández taught in Orellana la Vieja during the late 1970s under the Franco dictatorship. He established Escuela Viva, an innovative assembly school model within a public school. In 1976, Julián Pavón filmed a short documentary using a 16mm wind-up camera to capture this educational experience. Twenty-five years later, Pavón revisits former students and teachers to reflect on the movement's legacy and its influence on contemporary educational practices. The film runs for 85 minutes and was released in 2002.
