A wall-sized mirror interrupts a beam of light, creating a unique visual effect. The projection reflects back onto itself, forming a shifting volumetric cone. This phenomenon exists simultaneously in real space and as a reflected object. Created by artist Sean Kelly in 2018, "Split Second (Mirror)" runs for 16 minutes and presents a study of light and reflection through a single, continuous projection. The work invites contemplation of perception and reality.
