The River Thames flows through a collage of images and sounds in "Solitude." The film features readings from poets such as Byron, Keats, and Brontë, interwoven with songs by Nico. The soundtrack combines swirling electronic music from Ash Ra Tempel with new electric guitar compositions by James Creed and tracks by Graham Dowdall, also known as Gagarin.
