Synopsis
Sandi Tan, a 19-year-old filmmaker in Singapore, sets out to create the country's first independent road movie in 1992. She collaborates with her mentor, Georges Cardona, and friends Jasmine Ng and Sophia Siddique. After filming, Cardona disappears with the footage, leaving Tan and her friends without their work. In 2011, Tan learns that Cardona's ex-wife has recovered the lost film. Now living in Los Angeles, Tan investigates the events surrounding the film's creation and Cardona's disappearance.
