Synopsis

In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, marking one of the most devastating natural disasters in United States history. The aftermath presented an opportunity for infrastructure rebuilding; however, the government's response exacerbated pre-existing economic and racial inequalities. Through the experiences of displaced residents, the documentary highlights the stark realities of systemic inequality in America, illustrating how the recovery efforts often favored certain demographics over others, leaving many marginalized communities struggling to regain stability.
