Synopsis
Yakut shaman Alexander Gabyshev begins a two-year trek to Moscow in 2019. He aims to expel Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he believes is under the influence of dark forces. Starting alone, Gabyshev gathers followers as he travels. In Chita, he rallies support. His mission leads to mass protests in Ulan-Ude after the detention of his supporters. Gabyshev walks an average of 20 kilometers per day, receiving food and encouragement from locals along the way.
