Synopsis
Raoul Wallenberg arrived in Budapest in 1944 as a Swedish diplomat. His mission was to rescue Jews from the Nazi and Arrow Cross regimes. Within six months, he saved thousands of Hungarian Jews from deportation and death. On January 17, 1945, during the Siege of Budapest, Wallenberg was arrested by Soviet forces from the SMERSH organization. He vanished soon after, leaving behind a legacy of courage and humanitarian effort during one of history's darkest periods.
