Synopsis
Afanasii Dermenzhy, a Ukrainian architect known for his work on the Antonovsky Bridge, remains in Oleshky with his wife, Mariia, after the Russian seizure of Crimea. Following the explosion of the Kakhovka dam, they find themselves trapped between advancing Russian forces and rising floodwaters. As roads wash away and homes fill with water, the couple faces a dire situation that reflects the broader struggles of their community in southern Ukraine. The documentary runs for 52 minutes.
