Synopsis

The director returns to her hometown as part of the "my village" series, filming the lives of villagers fifty years after a devastating famine. Through the "Folk Memory Project," she captures their daily realities and seeks to understand their current well-being. While food is no longer scarce and living conditions have improved, she questions whether the community's spirit remains unfulfilled. "Satiated Village" runs for 88 minutes and was released in 2011.
