Jean-Gop, a passionate advocate for mangrove conservation, leads reforestation efforts in the village of Bumbugar, Senegal. His organization, Nebeday, aims to plant 1.5 million trees in 2022. Local children participate in these initiatives, planting 6,000 trees in one day. The project addresses deforestation caused by rising sea levels and salinity.
