Synopsis
In a seminar room, an executive trainer leads a group of former employees from East Germany's GDR who now work for a West German construction company. The trainer, previously featured in Harun Farocki's "Die Schulung" (1987), revisits themes of indoctrination and adaptation. Set in 1994, the 44-minute documentary captures the interaction between the trainer and participants as they navigate their new roles in a different economic system. The film presents their discussions and reflections on the transition from East to West.
