Synopsis

In the Kostroma region, 800 kilometers from Moscow, lumberjacks work tirelessly to fell trees. Their labor will result in 36 large rafts, ready to navigate the river when it opens in April. Three main characters, from different generations, share their experiences and stories, ranging from sea voyages to Africa to encounters with local wildlife. Amidst their hard work, they express humor and frustration about the challenges of life in Russia.
