Synopsis

Anna Rancāne, a poet from Latvia, faces challenges with her family. She lives with her daughter Terēze and her grandson Daniel, whose father is Dara Muhammad Ali. Despite their different religious backgrounds-Catholic and Muslim-the family strives to stay together. Their bond is tested by circumstances beyond their control. "Prayer for a Home" depicts their struggle for unity amid adversity, reflecting the universal need for shelter and belonging. The film runs for 37 minutes and was released in 2015.
