Synopsis
Barry Clifford dives near Isle Saint Marie off the coast of Madagascar. The coral ringed island served as a base for notorious 18th century pirates, including Captain Kidd. Clifford searches for treasure on sunken pirate ships and uncovers hidden tunnels and graveyards on land. The documentary features reenactments of pirates' lives in the shipping lanes of the Indian Ocean. Pirate Island runs for 45 minutes and was released in 2011.
