Synopsis
A 1973 stock train travels through central London to the North London suburbs. It emerges from the tunnel at Arnos Grove and continues to Cockfosters in Hertfordshire. The route between Acton Town and Hammersmith features express running, distinct from the parallel District line. The train returns to Acton Town and offers a driver’s view of the Heathrow Airport branch, ending at Terminals 1, 2, and 3. The line includes a quadruple track section from Acton Town to Northfields and visits four closed stations, including Aldwych, which closed in 1994.
