Synopsis
Masaya Volcano in Nicaragua serves as a dynamic ecosystem where life continually adapts to volcanic activity. Beneath the surface, vampire bats and other species inhabit extensive tunnels formed by flowing magma. The crater, once home to a lava lake, now hosts parakeets and vultures nesting on cliffs exposed to toxic gases.
