Synopsis

In 1940, a young girl in France dreams of becoming a ballerina. The onset of World War II disrupts her aspirations. She makes a vow that her daughters will pursue dance. Nearly 80 years later, she and her two daughters reflect on this promise. They discuss their shared history and the challenges faced in pursuing art during difficult times. Directed by Roberta Grossman, "Petit Rat" runs for 45 minutes.
