Synopsis
Mei-ling Hsiao records her daughter Xiang Yun, also known as Elodie, over 12 years. Elodie has Asperger syndrome and shows a passion for baking. As she matures, she prepares to leave Taiwan for France to pursue training as a pâtissier with her father. This move creates distance between mother and daughter, challenging their close bond. The film captures their evolving relationship against the backdrop of Elodie's ambitions and the realities of their separation.
