Synopsis

In the Šariš region of Eastern Slovakia, six individuals share their stories against the backdrop of globalization. These characters include Šarišans, Ruthenians, Roma, and Jews, as well as young people with diverse identities. Each person represents their community's traditions and challenges. The film captures the fading uniqueness of these groups while celebrating their authentic experiences. Known locally as "šaleni vychodňari" or "crazy easterners," they embody the cultural richness of Šariš.
