Synopsis

Issa, a sixteen-year-old boy, flees the war in Syria and arrives at a shelter for unaccompanied minors in Amsterdam. After living there for over a year, he turns 18 and faces a sudden loss of support. He is transferred to an unknown town, leaving behind his friends and the life he has begun to build. His best friend Hamidie also approaches his 18th birthday. Both must confront the challenges that come with this significant change in their lives.
