Synopsis

Kinmen, a remote island, has seen many battles since World War II. Residents once supported the national army, living through intense conflict and gunfire. Today, memories of those times are fading as the last witnesses to the war pass away. The younger generation knows little of the island's violent past. Despite this, the remnants of those experiences linger in Kinmen, shaping the community's identity and history. The documentary runs for 63 minutes and was released in 2023.
