Synopsis

Zhong Shan Road, a historic site with over a century of tradition, is home to a bustling night market managed by Ninth Uncle, known as the "Mayor of the Night Market." For more than 30 years, he has overseen the vibrant stalls filled with food vendors. Now approaching 70, Ninth Uncle faces the impending reconstruction of the area, which threatens to erase the market he has dedicated his life to. As the night falls, he watches the community he built begin to fade away.
