Synopsis
Nang lives in New Mexico but was born in Basse Terre, Trinidad, in 1934. She faced many challenges, including poverty and a difficult family background. After leaving her first husband, she danced with choreographer Geoffrey Holder, known for The Wiz. In her twenties, she worked in Venezuela's Orinoco delta and later bought a house. At 40, she began university in New York. Filmmaker Richard Fung portrays Nang's life and her constant reinvention through personal stories and travels.
