Synopsis
Kluge sits within a gallery, surrounded by tiled mosaics of images projected on four walls and the ceiling. He reads texts while the installation unfolds around him. The film, dedicated to Hans Richter, begins with Kluge’s account of a 1975 meeting with the experimental director. It reflects on the relationship between film history and the nature of art. The documentary runs for 23 minutes and was released in 2007.
