Synopsis

Boogie, a boatman on the Maroni River, transports fuel and supplies to remote communities between Suriname and French Guiana. He travels by motorized canoe, making stops that serve as points of exchange for goods, stories, and songs. As gold mining and floods impact the region, Boogie faces challenges from corporate interests and economic pressures while balancing his duties to his clan and the river.
