Synopsis

Minsk in 1937 was a site of tragedy for the Belarusian intelligentsia, where many poets were executed under a legal pretext. Eighty years later, a young screenwriter seeks to revive the memories of these forgotten figures. Through research and storytelling, the film paints a portrait of their lives in the 1920s and 1930s. It asks who these poets were, what inspired their work, and what dreams they held before their untimely deaths.
