Synopsis

Mila Anufrieva, known as the “albino angel,” operates in Dakar, Senegal, where she confronts the grim realities faced by vulnerable children. Each day, she intervenes to rescue children from prostitution and slavery, as well as from self-mutilation practices linked to local beliefs. In some African cultures, there is a dangerous myth that the blood of albinos possesses healing properties, leading to violence and exploitation. Anufrieva's efforts aim to combat these harmful practices and protect those at risk.
