Midsummer in Newtown

Synopsis

Newtown, Connecticut, hosts a theater production of a rock-pop version of A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2016. Local children are cast to participate in the project. This initiative follows the Sandy Hook school shooting, which occurred just over a year prior. Director Lloyd Kramer leads the effort to engage the community and support those affected by the tragedy. The documentary runs for 81 minutes.
