Synopsis
Hackney's Marc Bolan, once known as the 'king of the mods', transformed into a leading figure in the glam rock movement with his band T. Rex. The documentary, directed by Jeremy Marre, features Bolan's own words and previously unseen footage from producer Tony Visconti. It presents a detailed portrait of Bolan's rise to fame in the early 1970s and his complex personality. Friends, family, and partner Gloria Jones share insights into his life, which ended tragically at the age of 29.
