Synopsis
Ceylan and a focus puller work together in a small Turkish town to create the feature film Kasaba. This 22-minute documentary from 1997 presents behind-the-scenes footage of their minimalist production approach. Utilizing 35mm film and black and white Kodak stock, the crew captures the challenges and processes involved in filmmaking with just two members. The documentary includes optional English subtitles.
