Synopsis

In 1977, laborers from the Turkish film industry marched to Ankara for five days to protest a new censorship act. Approximately 400 participants, including actors and set workers, took part in this significant event, which ended a 60-year silence on censorship in cinema. The march prompted diverse public reactions and marked a crucial moment in the struggle for artistic freedom in Turkey. Directed by Deniz Yeşil, the documentary commemorates the 100th anniversary of cinema while documenting the determination of those advocating for expression in the film industry.
