Synopsis

Daniela Muñoz Barroso, a filmmaker with significant hearing loss, turns her attention to Gladys Esther Linares, known as Mafifa. Mafifa was a Cuban musician who played the bell, a key instrument in conga music. She passed away 40 years ago at a young age. Through her unique perspective, Barroso seeks to connect with Mafifa's legacy and the sounds that defined her life and work in the vibrant world of Cuban music.
