Erika Magnusson and Daniel Andersson began their project in 2008 to trace the production cycle of a pedometer. They filmed the process in real time, starting from a store in Stockholm and traveling through cities like Gothenburg, Rotterdam, and Málaga before reaching a factory in Shenzhen, China. Funding came from the Innovativ Kultur Foundation and Kulturbryggan. The film premiered on 1 December 2012 at the Uppsala City Library, running for 51,420 minutes.
