Synopsis
Viviana Gallardo, a teenager in early 1980s Costa Rica, becomes deeply involved in radical political organizing amid the region's political upheaval. Accused of participating in a shootout that resulted in the deaths of several police officers, she awaits trial in a cell. While unprotected, a police officer shoots her dead. Years later, friends and family assert her innocence, alleging a conspiracy involving powerful figures to cover up the crime.
