Synopsis
Laura, a Brazilian immigrant, has spent 25 years in New York City. She frequents exclusive nightclubs and upscale restaurants, yet lives in a modest boarding house in Manhattan, sharing a bathroom with other undocumented immigrants. The film examines her fear of returning to Curitiba, Brazil, and the pressure from her family. As Laura balances her glamorous facade with her challenging reality, she constructs a fantasy life to cope with her circumstances. Directed by Fellipe Barbosa, the documentary runs for 52 minutes.
