Knowledge Knockout: Episode 1

Synopsis

In this episode of Smithsonian Channel's Knowledge Knockout, host John Canala leads a trivia competition where Aviation Geeks Go full throttle. Contestants include Damian, an Army Medevac UH-60 Blackhawk pilot from Miami, and Jack, an aerospace engineer from Kansas who is rebuilding a T-37 jet. The game tests their knowledge of aviation history, famous flights, and pioneering pilots. Players have five seconds to answer questions, earning points for correct answers and allowing opponents to steal points for incorrect ones. The winner will face Dr. Bob VanderLingen, a curator at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, in the final episode. The excitement builds as both contestants showcase their passion for aviation and their social media presence, with Jack revealing his dream of purchasing a MIG-21.
