Synopsis

Loha Singh, an electricity thief in Kanpur, India, provides illegal power connections to residents facing daily power cuts of up to 15 hours. As summer temperatures rise, many rely on his services to cope with energy shortages. Ritu Maheshwari, managing director of the Kanpur Electricity Supply Company, works to combat rampant electricity theft and restore reliable service. The film captures the tension between Singh's actions and Maheshwari's efforts, reflecting the challenges of energy access in a city grappling with a severe power crisis.
