Synopsis

Rapper Čavalenky stands among ancient oak trees, whose roots stretch back to before the Anthropocene. The documentary details how these trees have contributed to significant human achievements throughout history. It questions the perception of trees as mere commodities, valued only when cut down for profit. Through Čavalenky's narrative, the film presents a view of the oak forest that contrasts its historical significance with contemporary attitudes toward deforestation. The runtime is 24 minutes.
