Synopsis
Ninety-one-year-old Ivan Boyko returns to his village in the Ternopil region of Ukraine in 2011, after 68 years away. Expelled to forced labor in Germany during World War II, he emigrated to Brazil in 1948. Ivan reconnects with family and his homeland, sharing his experiences through music. His diaries reveal the difficulties of adapting to life in a foreign country. The film captures his emotional reunion and the enduring ties to his Ukrainian heritage.
