Synopsis

In Iraq, Hana Khider leads an all-female team of Yazidi deminers working to clear landmines left by ISIS. Operating in bombed-out buildings and fields, the team meticulously searches for hidden explosives, where a single misstep can result in fatal consequences. Khider is employed by the Mines Advisory Group, an organization that is part of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997 for its efforts to eliminate landmines globally.
