Synopsis
Kimya Motley, an educator and activist, directs and co-produces Intentionally Erased, a documentary focused on the experiences of Black trans women in the United States. Drawing inspiration from Tony Porter and A Call to Men, the film aims to foster a respectful dialogue between Black trans women and Black cisgender men. It addresses biases and challenges faced by Black trans women, while also reflecting on Motley's own experiences as a survivor of gun violence and domestic abuse.
