Synopsis
Cease Wyss walks through downtown Vancouver, surrounded by plants that hold healing properties. A member of the Squamish Nation, she shares her knowledge of local flora, from fiddleheads to comfrey. Wyss listens to the silent language of these plants and teaches her daughter, Senaqwila, about their significance. Kamala Todd's 2008 film captures this connection to nature and the wisdom passed through generations. The documentary runs for nine minutes.
