Synopsis

At Idomeni, a temporary camp in Greece near the North Macedonian border, two Yazidi girls from Iraq navigate their uncertain future. They live in close quarters, relying on mobile phones to connect with family and friends left behind. Yasir, a fellow camp resident, clings to hope as he learns of a potential prisoner exchange involving his wife, held captive by ISIS for a year and a half. David Aronowitsch's documentary unfolds in eleven chapters, capturing the experiences of those waiting for safety and resolution.
