Synopsis
In 1969, 14-year-old Jerry Levitan tracked down John Lennon at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto after hearing rumors of the musician's presence. Levitan gained access to Lennon's suite and conducted an interview, which he recorded for 30 minutes. The animated film I Met the Walrus, directed by Josh Raskin, condenses this conversation into a five-minute piece, featuring illustrations by James Braithwaite and Alex Kurina. The film premiered on March 22, 2007, and has received multiple awards, including a Daytime Emmy.
