Synopsis

In Mongolia, the golden eagle stands as the biggest hunter of the sky. As winter approaches, the Kazakhs prepare for the hunting season, waiting for the first snows to signal the time to hunt. They find eagles that hunt foxes and wolves, showcasing the unique bond between the Kazakhs and their birds. The Kazakhs ride for hours to reach the peaks, where they can survey vast territories. From these high vantage points, they launch their eagles to hunt, demonstrating traditional falconry techniques that have been passed down through generations.
