Synopsis

In the Drakensberg mountains of South Africa, a pair of black eagles, Emoyeni and Quatele, face the challenges of their environment. As spring arrives, they take a risk by mating again while caring for their two-month-old eaglet. This marks the first recorded instance of black eagles attempting to breed twice in one season. The following winter reveals a successful outcome, with the eagles now tending to three newly hatched chicks, setting a new record for their species.
