Synopsis
In Pernambuco, Brazil, evangelical Christian groups have gained influence in society. They promote messages of economic and personal improvement through intense religious practices. The documentary features a new generation of priests, producers, and gospel music singers from rural areas. It shows their lives and the moral questions they face. Evangelicals have also increased their political power, controlling media segments and expressing intolerance toward different beliefs. Directed by Bárbara Wagner and Benjamin de Burca, the film runs for 20 minutes.
