Synopsis

On June 7th, three thousand Firestone workers flee their homes amid chaos. Steve Remo captures the moment as many seek shelter at Ensminger's mansion. An estimated fifteen hundred people gather outside, crying and afraid, hoping for refuge. Ensminger, however, feels compelled to turn them away, stating that he cannot protect them and that they would be safer among their own people. This decision weighs heavily on him, as he expresses deep concern for the well-being of the Liberian workers, feeling emotional about the situation. The tension escalates as the battle rages, leaving the workers vulnerable and without support, highlighting the stark divide between the expatriates and the local staff during this crisis.
