Synopsis

In the mountains of Sichuan, a projectionist has spent 37 years bringing films to remote villages. He once relied on a foot and bicycle to transport his projector. Now, he uses a motorcycle to carry a large screen for film showings. Films travel 2,000 kilometers from Beijing to Chengdu via satellite. Villagers gather along the roads with stools to watch. The documentary presents the changes in film distribution in rural China, contrasting urban Beijing with the bamboo-covered mountains near Chengdu.
