Synopsis
In a small town in Yunnan province, anthropologist Agland spent several years documenting the lives of its residents. His work, titled China: Beyond the Clouds, captures the stories of ordinary people in the early 1990s. Through their experiences, the film reveals aspects of China's past and present. Agland previously created a series about the Baka tribe in Cameroon, but this project focuses on the monumental changes occurring in China during that time. The documentary runs for 240 minutes.
